For all of you who are craving for a mouth-watering Double Impact shawarma or a Delicious Tuscan Falafel sandwich from the  one and only FALAFEL AND COMPANY, I have some good news and some bad news. Just for the sake of getting on your nerves, I’m gonna start with the bad news :P .. Of course most of you have noticed that since falafel and company opened, they have been operating on a half day shift from 10 am till 6 pm. That was mainly because the owner of the place was having difficulties getting some more workers to work for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, this problem has now extended to the day shift. Due to that Falafel and Company has now closed down temporarily ( Talal your gonna have to hold your appetite for a bit :P ) .

Now, I will pass on the good news. Falafel and Company will be transferring to a new location. They will be opening in Shuwaikh CO OP (Jam3eyat Shuwaikh) and they will be serving us starting from early in the morning till something like 11 or 12 midnight. In addition to that, they will be continuing on with their delivery service and hopefully they will be serving a wider range of places in Kuwait such as Qortuba, Surra, Nuzha etc.

So lastly for all you Falafel & Company lovers your gonna have to hold your appetite and stay patient until their new opening :P

My brother kept telling me about this burger joint that I just had to go to. He claimed that it was the best burger in Amsterdam, and after trying it I had to agree. Burger Meester is not your typical burger place, all the ingredients are fresh obtained from local, organic farmers and the bread is homemade. They serve regular sized burgers and mini-burgers, they don’t serve fritts here (Dutch for fries) but they do have the baked potato which is drenched in sour cream. I ordered the “Meester Burger”, “Lamb Burger”, “Falafel Burger” (My favorite) and a baked potato.

I never thought of having a burger with zucchini and red beets, but I must say that Burger Meester managed to make it work perfectly. So, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
